(Summer
2006) Kettle Cuisine, Inc. of Chelsea, MA, maker of fresh
refrigerated soups, stews and chowders, has introduced 4 new
soups to their Global Adventures foodservice lineup.
Executive Chef Volker Frick takes the best quality
ingredients, traditional flavors and cooking techniques to
create soups so genuine that each one is a testament to its
region’s cuisine. The 4 new soups include:
Asparagus &
Brie Soup
A
wonderfully rich soup prepared with asparagus purée,
made-from-scratch chicken stock and creamy brie cheese, and
garnished with fresh asparagus.
Cuban Black
Bean Soup with Chorizo Sausage
Black beans, chorizo sausage, carrots, onions and celery
simmered in made-from-scratch pork stock with Madeira wine,
lime juice and cilantro.
Thai Chicken
Soup with Red Curry
White and dark meat chicken simmered in freshly made
chicken stock with brown rice, onions, garlic, ginger,
lemongrass and red curry paste finished with coconut milk,
lime and scallions.
Mulligatawny
An Indian classic made with our own chicken stock, onions,
garlic ginger, peppers, Granny Smith apples and finished with
coconut milk and lime.
Kettle Cuisine
makes over sixty (60) varieties of fresh refrigerated soups,
stews and chowders for consumers and professional chefs. Their
soups are available to foodservice providers through
distributors along the East Coast and in the Midwest. Kettle
Cuisine’s retail line is available to customers in New England
and the Mid-Atlantic region. They offer soup for retail in 10
oz. microwaveable single serving bowls, as well as 24 oz. and
32 oz. containers.
