“Excellent” Rating for Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety
from Silliker, Inc.

retail, received the auditing Gold Certificate of
Recognition from Silliker, Inc. for its Northampton, MA
facility in December, 2005. Silliker, Inc. is the leading
international network of accredited food testing and
consulting laboratories. The results of the December 2005
"Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety Audit" rated Hot
Mama's Foods performance as "excellent", with a score of 96%,
based upon Silliker auditing requirements for maintaining and
improving food safety and quality practices. Hot Mama's Foods
voluntarily undergoes periodic independent audit scrutiny as
part of their commitment to the manufacture of high quality
natural and organic products using sustainable business
practices and environmental consciousness.
 With two
facilities, one on the East coast (Northampton, MA) and now in
the Mid-West (Chicago, IL ), Hot Mama’s full service kitchens
and packaging facilities consistently manufacture
competitively-priced products that can be all-natural, vegan,
Kosher Parve, USDA approved, and select organic products. They
develop new products and recipes to meet customers’ needs and
package in individual servings or in large volume containers
(from 8 oz. and up). Hot Mama’s handles high-volume,
time-sensitive orders with products that can have up to a 60
day shelf life.
