announce that its Butternut Squash & Apple Soup has
been nominated in the category of 2005 Outstanding Foodservice
Product in the NASFT’s annual competition. Each year, the
specialty food industry turns to the results of this
competition to discover emerging trends, the highest-quality,
most innovative products that will shape the industry. Twenty
winners will be selected from the 93 finalists at the 51st
Summer Fancy Food Show® in New York City on Sunday, July 10,
2005, by nearly 100 specialty food judges. These seasoned
palates and professional merchandisers will analyze, taste and
judge the finalists’ products to choose the winners, who will
be announced at the Meet the Tastemakers® Reception on Monday,
July 11, from 5 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

freshly made chicken stock, puréed and then accented with
Granny Smith apples sautéed in butter, Vermont honey, light
cream and Spanish sherry. A delightful addition to menus in
